ACTS 4
32 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

All things in common: It isn’t accurate to see this as an early form of communism. Communism is not koinonia. “Communism says, ‘What is yours is mine; I’ll take it.’ Koinonia says, ‘What is mine is yours, I’ll share it.’” (LaSor)

I believe this is what we should be doing. Out of my abundance, I can help those in the church who are in need! The key is to pray, and believe for an abundance! The key is to understand God can give us more. I do not need to hold on tightly to ANY worldly possession.

Another note from my commentary:
Some think that this radical sharing of possessions among the early church was a mistake. They say it was based on the wrong idea that Jesus was returning immediately, and that it led to much poverty in the Jerusalem church later on.

The apostles nor God, ever condemned the sharing of properties and possessions, so I would NOT agree with those who think the radical sharing was a mistake.

What are your thoughts?
