Song of Solomon 2

14 “O my dove, in the clefts of the rock,
In the secret places of the cliff,
Let me see your face,
Let me hear your voice;
For your voice is sweet,
And your face is lovely.”

This verse depicts a person really trying to initiate intimacy. He wants to have a deeper connection. He wants her to know she is appreciated and loved.

Have this love for your significant other. Have this love for your God.
Strive to hear his voice, and yearn to see his face. Then we will be at peace and know how to press forward.
