Romans 5
12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

I read this commentary:
The law was too late to prevent sin and death and it is too weak to save from sin and death.

Wow, that is heavy. The law only points out what we should not do. However, it is not able to save our lives.

Paul presents Adam as a type – a picture, a representation – of Jesus. Both Adam and Jesus were completely sinless men from the beginning, and both of them did things that had consequences for all mankind.

I also thought this was great. There was only born in this world 3 sinless people. Adam, Eve and Jesus. After Adam sinned, the sin was given to all mankind.

Now someone might ask, why did God even put the tree in the Garden of Eden?
The tree of knowledge of good and evil was to give Adam and Eve a choice to obey Him or disobey Him. God has always been about free will, freely choosing to serve Christ.

Don’t rely on the law. Rely on a relationship with Jesus. Let’s go back to our roots of fellowshipping with the Father. Let’s not make it a system of rules that are right or wrong.
