Falling asleep last night I thought about this scripture again:

Acts 16
25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

Your typical pastor would relate it back to you and say “when you are in the middle of your troubles worship Him and you will be set free.” That’s 50% truth and 50% cliche.

The truth of the matter is we have never been in an INNER PRISON. Most of the people that read this have never seen such persecution or fear. We need to elevate ourselves to the point where we are a threat to the enemies kingdom.

We need to be worshiping BEFORE we ever get to the worst places. We need to be studying the word of God now while things are good. Then we will understand why it works in the dark inner prisons. If we don’t learn it in freedom, we will not have it in captivity.
